According to the information on the official website of the Russian Federal Consumer Rights Protection and Human Health Control Service, foreign citizens, who earlier entered Russia and who perform work activities as highly qualified professionals, as well as their family members will have to provide negative Covid-19 test results in order to re-enter Russia after spending New Year and Christmas holidays abroad (entry to Russia up until January 10, 2021).
ATTENTION!
In order to enter Russia:
- it will be necessary to provide medical document in Russian or English (or both), confirming negative Covid-19 test, performed by PCR method, which has to be performed not earlier than 3 days before entering the Russian Federation.
- According to the information we got from employees of the Border Control, entry will be allowed only for foreign citizens employed as HQS and their family members in case they are in Federal Security Service lists. In case HQS employee and his family members already entered Russia in 2020 on the basis of permission from the Federal Security Service (they were on the list), it will not be necessary to apply for additional permission to enter before January 10, 2021. In case HQS employee and his family members did not enter Russia during 2020 based on Federal Security Service list, employer of such employee has to apply to the appropriate Ministry in order to request entry permission.
