November 22, 2019 comes into force the Order of the Ministry of Labour allowing individuals to apply for quota for engaging foreign labour. Now, having received the quota for foreign labour individuals will be able to employ foreign workers from visa countries as house workers: babysitters, tutors, house assistants, drivers, gardeners, cooks and etc.
At present it is not entirely clear if this attempt to legalize this part of the labour marker will be successful. It is suggested that individuals in order to receive quota and then work permit for the foreign national from the visa country will have to undergo the same procedures as companies when they engage foreign labour on the basis of quota and corporate work permission.
